Description
Bladetech Hockey is built on two things: innovation and quality. They're the first company to make "flexible" hockey blades that boost performance while protecting your body.
The secret is their patented Flex Force Advantage. The front of each replacement blade flexes up into your skate holder, stores vertical energy, then releases it as you extend your stride — increasing acceleration and helping you skate up to 5% faster on average.
That same flex absorbs high-impact forces on the ice, easing pressure on your ankles, knees, and hips. The result: fewer lower-body injuries, more efficiency, and longer time on the ice.
And because they're made from the highest-quality steel available, you'll go almost twice as long between sharpenings.
Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) Coating
Black or Gold Diamond DLC: This special coating with "diamond-like properties" helps fortify the steel, making it resistant to damage and drastically extends its life.

How to Install
For Installation, please follow
these steps carefully:
- Ensure the front hook is fully inserted first.
- Pull the trigger fully.
- Push the heel of the blade into the holder.
- Make sure the blade goes all the way in before you release the trigger.
- Give the skate a tap on a carpet to make sure that everything is locked and seated in securely and fully.
- The trigger will return to the closed position when you release, or when you tap on the carpet, and with our steel it will be providing more back tension.
- You can test everything is locked by trying to pull the blade out by the heel.
Shipping & Returns
Free shipping on orders over $250.
365 Day Warranty on all steel.
*Note – customized blades cannot be returned,
so ensure you are ordering the correct size and style.
Match your fit
- Turn your skate over — the holder name is printed on the outside of the plastic holder.
- Type it in exactly as it reads (e.g. “Bladetech Quickchange 1”).
- Look on the holder near where it mounts to the boot — the size is stamped there.
- Enter just the number (e.g. “280”). An “R” or “L” means right/left and isn’t needed.
- Snap a clear photo of your skate showing the holder, and we’ll double-check the exact fit for you before we build.

What customers say
Real Flex Force Advantage Hockey Skate Blades owners.
If you haven't tried these, I highly recommend you do — light years ahead of any other blades I've tried. This company is the only place I will buy blades from.
He's only ten, but he tells me his knees, hips, feet and legs feel better than stock blades. They stay sharp longer and don't nick as easily.
I hesitated. They're expensive compared to stock replacements. It took me months to pull the trigger — I wish I'd done it sooner.
How it works.
Our patented design allows the blade to compress into the holder during your stride. This loading process releases energy on push-off.
