The Whole Industry Is Built on a Claim Nobody Has Proven
Why are they making sticks lighter? - No one has an answer. "Lighter" is the last lever big brands can pull to justify next season's price increase. Every gram removed comes out of the shaft, where the strength lives.
Every elite player buying from us had the same issue: they'd dropped thousands of dollars on sticks and had nothing left. Priced out of their own equipment.
So we did something about it. Researched dozens of factories. Tested thousands of sticks. The result: one amazing stick at a price that makes sense.

I started buying them to save money on broken sticks, and they actually last longer and perform better than most mainstream sticks I have tried.
The sticks are awesome — they quickly replaced my son's love for the big brand he'd been playing. This is the only stick he will use now
He feels like he can feel the puck well when stickhandling, and it holds up well — his first one was used for every practice and game.
Junior Hockey Stick - 100% Carbon Fiber

Why It Holds Up When Others Don't
1. Highest Quality Carbon
The top-end sticks use 100% carbon fiber. So do we.
2. More Durability
Lighter sticks means less material. Less material means less strength. Our stick weight allows for great puck handling, proper flex loading, and more durability. We call this "Performance Weight".
3. Performance Weight
A stick has to handle the puck and shoot it hard. Removing material to hit some sort of "target weight" doesn't improve puck handling, and you don't shoot harder. You lose durability and feel.
Proof: NHL and elite players don't use the lightest sticks. They use "Performance Weight" sticks to improve puck feel, shot accuracy, and durability.
Why Bladetech Hockey STICKS?
Most brands price their huge marketing budgets into their sticks and have to roll out a new, more expensive model every year. We build in the same factory, use the same carbon grade, and skip the overhead. You pay for the stick, not the marketing.
It's the claim the whole industry leans on, and nobody's proven it. You can't make a stick lighter at the blade — the material comes out of the shaft, which costs you strength and moves the flex point. We build to Performance Weight instead. Al McInnis held the hardest shot record in the NHL for 20 years with a heavy wooden stick. He didn't need a 350 gram stick.
We don't hide behind a 30-day window. We want to make sure you have an amazing experience. If you don't, talk to us. You'll get a real life human being.
Most orders will ship within 48 hours and shipping takes 2-5 business days. Exceptions include custom sticks which take 3 months to produce.
